750

grams lean lamb mince

1

teaspoon chilli sauce, (1 to 2)

cup finely chopped macadamias

1

clove garlic, crushed

1

onion, finely chopped

3

tablespoons finely chopped mint

1

cup fresh breadcrumbs

1

egg

salt and pepper

Step 1

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Divide mixture into 6-8 patties, depending on size of bread rolls. Wet hands with water and shape the mixture into patties. Place on a tray, cover, and rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Step 2

Note: These patties can also be shaped like a thin sausage and when cooked, rolled in pita bread.
