Recipe: Pumpkin Butter edit

Yield: 5 cups

edit Ingredients

1

ounce can -or- 3 ½ cups pumpkin puree

cup ¾ apple juice

1

cup ¼ sugar

teaspoon ½ (ground) cloves

1

teaspoon nutmeg

2

teaspoons ginger

2

teaspoons cinnamon

edit Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and stir thoroughly.

Step 2

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer gently for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.

Step 3

Transfer to jars and process with 10-minute water bath to seal, or keep refrigerated until use.
