Homemade Spicy Chili
1/2 cup of minced turkey meat
1/2 can of washed kidney beans, or you can use dried beans, soak it overnight and cook
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 chive finely chopped
1 celery finely chopped
1 carrot chopped finely
1/2 green bell pepper finely chopped
1 teaspoon chili
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon of basil powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
In a pot, heat oil, add the veggies and cook for 5 minutes at medium heat
Add the beans, meat and the tomatoes!
Then add the spices, mix well and close the pot for 10 minutes, on simmer.
Enjoy it hot with some croutons or crackers!
