Spiced strawberry jam
• 500 gr of strawberries
• 300 grams of sugar (cane sugar dulcita)
• 1 vanilla bean
• 5 cardamom seeds
• 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
• 10 cloves
Wash strawberries and cut off green leaves and chop in very little pieces, put in a pot with cane sugar, vanilla bean.
When jam start to be jelly add cardamom, cloves and nutmeg.
Cook with low flame until became dark red and very jelly, now with a spoon search various seeds inside the strawberry jam.
When is still hot put in clean jars (boiled in hot water for 10 minutes), and conserve in a dry and dark places.
