Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups M

Preparation

Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Stir in 1 cup candy - reserve remaining candies for decorating. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Makes 6 dozen.
