Potatoes (Paprikas Potatoes) Hungarian By Laszlo
2 pounds potatoes
1 green pepper
salt to taste
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
2 teaspoons oil
2 or 3 cups as much as you like gives it a nice smoke flavor. (Hungarian Sausage Smoked Kolbasz) or Smoked Kielbasa Sliced thin
1 clove garlic
1 fresh tomato
Chop the onions finely and then sauté them, under cover in the oil until
they turn golden. Add the paprika and a small amount of water.
Add the garlic, the tomato, the green pepper and salt; cover again and simmer for half hour.
Peel, quarter and then add the potatoes. Add a bit more water just to cover the potatoes and keep cooking until the potatoes are tender. Add the sliced Kolbasz.Cook for another 5 minutes, reducing the heat to simmer.
