About

I adore my rice cooker! Okay, that’s probably a bit dramatic, but it really is one of the best appliances I’ve ever purchased. Under $25, it makes the best rice. Light and fluffy.

The best part is that in the long run, I save money because I don’t spend it on flavorless instant rice. I buy different varieties of rice in bulk, and put them in sealed containers. They last for months in the pantry.

It’s so easy to make flavorful rice. You’ll never go back to plain, old boxed rice once you’ve tried making rice with chicken broth, garlic, chives and ginger.

Just a tip – make extra to add to soups or salads during the week, or freeze for nights when you need a quick side dish.
