Paneer Bhurgi

Ingredients

1/2 cup smashed paneer
1 tomato, chopped finely
1 onion, chopped finely
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
refined oil, according to taste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
a few green corriander leaves

Preparation

Brown the onion in a frying pan with the cinnamon.

Add tomatoes, crushed cashews and almonds, green chili, turmeric, red chili and salt and cook for a few minutes longer. Stir in mixed smashed paneer.

Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.

Serve with roti or bread. Sometimes made with eggs instead of paneer.
