Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

Ingredients

2 tablespoons brandy
1 pound Large scallops, halved
1/2 teaspoon sugar
4 green onions, cut in 1 ” pieces
8 slices bacon, halved

Preparation

Combine brandy and sugar in a bowl and marinate scallops for 1 hour. Preheat broiler.

Stack one scallop piece, 1 piece water chestnut, and 1 green onion piece and wrap the stack with a bacon strip.

Secure with a wooden pick.

Repeat.

Broil 6-7 minutes, turning once, or until bacon is crisp, but not crumbly.
