Homemade Apple Cider

Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon salt*
Pinch of Cardamom (Optional)
4 tablespoons brown sugar

Preparation

Select some good apples and peel with a vegetable peeler.

Cut them into pieces and make a fine puree using a blender, a little water can be added to make it a fine puree.

Heat the puree in a big pot, add more water if necessary to make it a thick liquid consistency.

Add 1/2 tsp salt, pinch of cardamom, brown sugar (check the sweetness of the puree before adding brown sugar).

Bring the puree to a boil and turn off the heat.

Refrigerate the apple cider after it cools down. This can be stored up to a month or two.
