Mom's Banana Nut Bread
Great for breakfast, coffee/tea break, or just anytime! Easy to take to the office to share. Freezes well.
To make this small quantity of sour milk, put the 3 tablespoons of milk into a small bowl and add 1/4 teaspoon of white vinegar. Let set for 1 minute and then mix as above.
I have substituted one of the bananas with 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce and then reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup and it was delicious. The banana flavor was a little lighter.
