Beat egg. Add salt and milk. Peel bananas and slice crosswise into one inch thick pieces. Dip in egg, then roll in dry crumbs or crushed corn flakes. Fry in deep Crisco heated at 375 degrees until brown and tender. Remove from hot fat and drain on absorbent paper. Serve very hot.

Note: Use green tipped or all yellow, but not flecked, skinned bananas.

Thanks for the tip in using green tipped bananas. no wonder why my bananas getting mushy when torched.
