pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed |

tablespoons butter |

pinch of freshly grated nutmeg |

tablespoons Parmesan cheese, freshly grated |

salt and pepper |

Step 1 |
Cook the Brussels sprouts in salted boiling water for 15 minutes, then drain. |
Step 2 |
Melt the butter in a pan and, when golden brown, add the sprouts and cook over low heat for a few minutes. |
Step 3 |

Step 4 |
Transfer to a warm serving dish, sprinkle with Parmesan and serve. |
