Greek Salad

Ingredients

5 large ripe tomatoes
1 large red onion, sliced thinly
1 large cucumber
1/4 pound greek feta

Preparation

Slice the vegetables into bite-size wedges

Toss in a bowl with olive oil

Place feta on top of the salad or break up into crumbles

Traditional "Greek salad", known as horiatiki (country or village salad) in Greece, is a simple salad of mainly tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, olives and feta that is often eaten in the summer months. Sometime green pepper, anchovies, oregano and/or lettuce is also added.
