Recipe: Frozen Maple Mousse edit

edit Ingredients
¾ |
cup real maple syrup |
4 |
egg yolks, well beaten |
2 |
cups whipping cream, stiffly whipped |
edit Preparation
Step 1 |
Heat syrup in top of double boiler. Add a little syrup to egg yolks, then stir yolks into syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. |
Step 2 |
Remove from heat and cool thoroughly. Fold mixture into whipped cream. |
Step 3 |
Spoon into mold or dessert glasses, serve chilled or frozen. |
