Yield: 7 servings

¾

cup real maple syrup

4

egg yolks, well beaten

2

cups whipping cream, stiffly whipped

edit Preparation

Step 1

Heat syrup in top of double boiler. Add a little syrup to egg yolks, then stir yolks into syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Step 2

Remove from heat and cool thoroughly. Fold mixture into whipped cream.

Step 3

Spoon into mold or dessert glasses, serve chilled or frozen.
