Combine the softened cream cheese with the cream, garlic and herbs in food processor with metal blade.

Process until well blended.

Pack into a small bowl and dust with freshly ground black pepper.

Best made a day ahead and refrigerated for at least several hours.

Serve with crackers or thin slices of baguette (crusty French bread).
