cups flour

1

teaspoon baking powder

¼

teaspoon salt

1

teaspoon cinnamon

2

cups sugar

3

eggs

1 ½

cups corn or salad oil

1

teaspoon vanilla

1

lg. jar junior carrots

1

cup crushed pineapple with juice

1

cup coarsely chopped pecans

3

ounces cream cheese

4

tablespoons butter

1 ½

cups powdered sugar

1

teaspoon vanilla

Step 1

Sift together dry ingredients except sugar in medium bowl.

Step 2

Beat in large bowl: eggs, oil, sugar, vanilla and baby food until light.

Step 3

Add pineapple.

Step 4

Stir in dry ingredients until blended.

Step 5

Stir in nuts.

Step 6

Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.

Step 7

Cool in pan on rack.

Step 8

Frost with cream cheese icing.

Step 9

Beat together until smooth.
