Step 1 |
Bring water, chicken, onion, bay leaf, salt, and pepper to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours. Remove chicken; debone. Add carrots, celery, and potatoes. Boil until tender. Add chicken, parsley, and simmer 8-10 minutes. Add butter and melt. |
