Ingredients

2 cups light brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup nuts
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together. Place in 15 1/2 to 10 1/2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and remove to wire rack to cool.
