Peri Peri Chili Peppers

Lemon, juiced

Cloves Garlic, minced

1

tablespoon Paprika

1

tablespoon Parsley, chopped

tablespoons Olive oil

1

teaspoon Salt

Step 1

Remove stems and seeds from peppers

Step 2

Grind and mix all ingredients to a fine paste by hand or use a blender or food processor

Step 3

Heat in a frying pan until ingredients turn a deep rich color, 3-5 minutes.

This spicy sauce is of Portuguese origin and very popular in West Africa. It is often served with Chicken or fish. You can make it less spicy by using different chili peppers, including:

Pequin
New Mexico
Cayenne
