lb. ground round

1

med. onion

2

(8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce

1

tbsp. parsley, minced

1

tbsp. sugar, or Sugar-Twin

1

tsp. salt

1

tsp. ground basil

Step 1

Brown ground round and onion together in large pot. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer. Cook 1 package lasagna noodles. In 13 x 9 inch pan, alternate noodles, sliced American cheese, meat sauce and grated Parmesan cheese twice, ending with sauce and grated cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut in squares to serve. Makes 8 servings.
