Ham Hock With Green Beans
Score ham hock to get best flavor. Simmer ham hock in 4 cups water, 4 chicken bouillon cubes, and 8 to 10 peppercorns 1 hour. Add 1 pound fresh green beans; cook 20 to 25 minutes. Add some small onions at same time. Then add small potatoes, enough for three people. If additional ham wanted, cut slice in serving pieces, add last 15 minutes of cooking time.
