Yield: 6 servings

cups Flour |

teaspoon Baking soda |

teaspoon Salt |

cup Butter - softened |

cups White sugar |

teaspoon Vanilla |

ounces Chocolate chips |

Step 1 |

In large bowl cream butter until fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar. Add egg and vanilla until fluffy. |
Step 3 |
Stir in flour mixture and chips. |
Step 4 |
Shape into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls; place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. (5-6 per large sheet) |
Step 5 |
Bake 350 degrees on middle rack 25-30 mins. Cool on cookie sheet. |

Makes about 18 cookies |
