Egyptian Rice

Ingredients

1 pound Ground beef
1 small Onion
Salt & pepper to taste
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
cup Raw rice
cup Toasted slivered almonds

Preparation

Chop onion, then brown with meat in small amount of oil. Cook until meat is done. Add salt, pepper, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce & soup. Pour raw rice in but do not mix rice; just pour it in. Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes; add mushrooms & slivered almonds. Cook 2 more minutes.
