cups crushed ice |

tablespoon lemon juice |

cup diced unpeeled apple |

cup chopped celery |

cup chopped nuts |

Step 1 |
Preparation:Combine gelatin and boiling water in electric blender container. Blend at low speed until gelatin is dissolved, about 1 minute. Add ice and lemon juice; cover and blend at high speed until ice is melted, about 30 seconds. Stir in apples, celery and nuts. Pour into an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan or a 4 cup mold. Chill until firm, about 1 hour. Unmold. Serve with salad greens and mayonnaise, if desired. |
