Tiff's Bourbon Chicken Wings

Ingredients

20 wings (1st and 2nd section) thawed
(may also use drumsticks)
1/2 medium white onion cut into ½ inch pieces
Tony Chatchere's Original Creole seasoning to taste
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 1/2 cups Kentucky Bourbon
3/4 tablespoon garlic powder
3/4 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon paprika

Preparation

Thaw wings the day before cooking.

Mix Bourbon, Worcheshire, minced garlic and hot wing sauce together. Cover wings in mixture and marinate in fridge for at least 6 hrs.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Line a glass baking dish with marinated wings reserving some marinade.

Season both sides with Tony Chatcheres, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper.

Scatter onion pieces so they are surrounding, under and on top of chicken.

Spoon reserved marinade over chicken and be sure to spoon out the garlic for more flavor

Serve with brown rice or steamed veggies!
