Apple and Black Tea Cake

Ingredients

160 grs flour
130 grs sugar
4 teaspoons black tea flavored with flowers

Preparation

Boil 100 ml of water; steep 3 teaspoons of the tea. Let cool.

Whisk the eggs with sugar until fluffy, add the cooled tea and oil.

Sift the flour with the baking powder and stir in by the spoonful.

Wash, peel and core apples. Slice thinly.

Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured 22-cm cake pan, and arrange the apples on top. Sprinkle the surface of the cake with the remaining tea leaves mixed with a tablespoon of sugar and bake at 180° Celsius for an hour.

Decorate with icing sugar.
