Step 1 |
Cut off upper third of artichoke, remove tough outside leaves and trim stem. Using scissors, cut off prickly tops from all leaves. Rinse artichokes well. Sprinkle each with a dash of garlic salt and top with a slice of lemon. Wrap each artichoke individually in plastic wrap. |
Step 2 |
Place in shallow baking dish and cook in microwave oven for 9-10 minutes, or until bottom of artichoke is tender when pierced with a fork. Remove from oven and stand 1-2 minutes. Serve with melted butter. Note: Cook 4 artichokes for 11-13 minutes. |
