Step 1 |
Combine egg and milk and oil. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Add to milk mixture; beat until smooth. Dip pieces of chicken in batter; drain 5-10 minutes on rack. Fill Dutch oven 1/3 full with oil. Heat to 375 degrees. Cook chicken about 12 minutes. Drain. |
