Tuna Fish Cakes
1 cup onion, chopped
2 nos potatoes ( boiled and mashed)
2 nos green chillies ( chopped)
1 bunch fresh green coriander leaves
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp red chilly powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 cup spring onions ( chopped)
1 nos Fish stock cube
1 nos egg white of one egg
100 grams bread crumbs
1/4 tsp Salt for taste( if required only)
100 mls oil for shallow fry
2 tbsps oil for cooking
Heat oil in a wok, Add finely chopped onions and fry till golden brown. Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute for a min. Add chilly powder and give it a stir. Add the tuna chunks and stir again. Add all ingredients except bread crumbs and egg white and stir fry till oil seperates. Turn off the flame and cool it.Keep this tuna mixture aside.
In a mixing bowl Add the tuna mixture and knead well. Make round balls, then flatten them by pressing.
Roll over egg white, then on bread crumbs.
Shallow fry in hot oil ( 165degree) . Turn and cook both sides.
serve hot with tomato sauce.
