pound fresh mushrooms, about 2 inch diameter |

tablespoons butter |

tablespoons chopped onion |

slice bread, torn into sm. pieces |

cup shredded cheese |

Step 1 |
Wipe mushrooms well with damp cloth. Remove stems and set aside caps. Chop stems. Microwave butter, stems and onions on high for 4 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Press filling into caps; do not mound. Arrange 6 filled caps on paper plate. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes. Repeat. Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen. |
