foolproof no-bake cheesecake
8 oz cream cheese
Tub of cool whip/whipped topping
Favorite gelatin or pudding mix
9'' graham cracker pie crust
Soften the cheese to room temperature. Beat it somewhat with a hand mixer. Add the whole packet of gelatin/pudding mix. (Don't mix anything in besides the powder yet.)
Fold in the cool whip/whipped topping.
Place mixture into pie crust and level out.
You can serve this three ways: frozen (summer perfect!), cool (from the fridge), or room temperature.
My mom tweeked another's recipe for this. So now it comes in any flavor you like. I like lime flavored and my little brother likes chocolate flavored. Truly the best cold dessert - easy to make and versatile.
