Lc's Salsa Verde

Ingredients

1 jalapeno, seeded (mild) OR w/ seeds (hotter) OR 1 habanero pepper (hottest)
5 green onions/chives
1 teaspoon salt

The great thing about this recipe is that you can throw it in the food processor for that smooth, blended restaurant-like mouth-feel or, if you're like me, rough cut all the ingredients and just throw it together for a delicious, super chunky salsa.

No lie, I am widely considered the salsa connoisseur among friends and family. I love pretty much all things 'sauce' - I mean, a good or bad sauce can make or ruin a meal - but especially salsa. I don't think I've ever gone more than a few days without chips and salsa in the house and I'm obsessed with huevos rancheros for breakfast. Home-made salsa is of course the best (especially during the high, hot farmer's market season), so by request, here is my recipe for the infamous salsa verde, a frequent party favorite.
