Butter Cream Powdered Sugar Frosting

Ingredients

6 lbs. hard butter, cut up
2 lbs. shortening
2 Large Cake pans, 18 x 26 inches:
1 pound butter
3/4 pound shortening

Preparation

Whip with paddle until fluffy, then add: 1/4 c. flavor

Whip with paddle until fluffy, then add: 1 1/2 tsp. flavor

Whip again on high speed. This stores very well. Add various colors to water.

Variations: Kool-Aid for color; cocoa; lemon juice, etc.
