Recipe: Rocky Road Cookie Bars edit

teaspoon vanilla |

cup finely chopped California walnuts |

teaspoon salt |

cup miniature marshmallows |

cup walnuts (above) |

(6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips |

Step 2 |
Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add all remaining ingredients except walnuts. Beat until smooth. Turn into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, just until top is lightly brown and springs back to touch. Remove from oven and IMMEDIATELY COVER with filling, placing ingredients in order listed. |
Step 3 |
Return to oven for 2 minutes only just until chocolate is soft. Remove and swirl chocolate over marshmallows and nuts. Cool. |
