purchased pumpkin pie achieve homemade status.

inch) pie

cup pecan pieces

1

tablespoon minced crystallized ginger

¾

cup packed dark-brown sugar

4

tablespoons (½ stick) butter, melted

baked 8-, 9- or 10 inch pumpkin pie, homemade or purchased

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except pie in a small bowl. Spread evenly over top of baked pumpkin pie. Broil about two minutes, about 7 inches from heat source, watching carefully until topping is golden and sugar is dissolved. Cool a little before serving.
