The Bee's Knees

Ingredients

2 ounces Gin

1/2 teaspoon honey dissolved in 1 tsp hot water

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, stirring to dissolve honey syrup.

Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail (martini) glass. Serve with a lemon wheel.

A classic Prohibition era cocktail that used honey to mask the smell of the gin to create a lightly sweet-sour cocktail perfect for summer sipping.
