cup vegetable oil
cup sugar
1 egg
cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
teaspoon salt
teaspoon ground nutmeg
cup milk
cup butter melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400. Cream oil, sugar, and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Turn into a greased muffin tin and bake 20-25 minutes. Immediately remove from pan and roll in melted butter. Then roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.

NOTES : Cris Says: These are fine without sifting. I like to bake them in miniature muffin tins and remove them about 5 min. earlier from oven. My grandkids love these for snacks, and they are good with a breakfast buffet.
