Veal for stewing (one to two pounds) |

tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil |

ounces can tomatoes |

large onions, cut into wedges |

green or red pepper, cut into strips or squares |
black pepper to taste |

Step 1 |
Cook veal cubes in oil until no longer pink. |
Step 2 |
Combine veal with remaining ingredients in slow cooker. |
Step 3 |
Slow-cook until meat is tender. |
Step 4 |
Serve over rice or noodles. |

I use the "auto" setting on my slow cooker, which is two hours on High and the rest of the time on Low; it was done in about six hours but might have been ready earlier.
