part chilled blackberry sauce |

Step 1 |
To make the blackberry sauce, heat the blackberries, water and sugar in a saucepan on medium-high heat. |
Step 2 |
Mash the berries with a wooden spoon to release all the juices. Stir until all the sugar has dissolved (about 10-15 minutes). |
Step 3 |
Strain liquid through a fine sieve to remove the seeds, then chill well. |
Step 4 |
To make the martini, put blackberry sauce and vodka into a shaker with ice and shake well. |
Step 5 |
Strain into a martini glass. |
