cups heavy cream

1

cup whole milk

1

cup pumpkin puree

½

teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1

teaspoon vanilla

¾

cup light brown sugar

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Pour into an ice cream machine and follow maker’s directions.

Step 2

Top with (candied) pecans if desired.

Step 3

Try adding bits of real pumpkin pie to ice cream once it has reached soft-serve consistency.
