Some Like it... HOT WINGS!
12 Chicken Wings, organic
Black Pepper, freshly cracked
Olive Oil for drizzling
Scallions and Cilantro, chopped for garnish
You Will Need:
A Baking Rack that fits over a sheet pan
Preheat oven to 400 degrees on bake.
Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
Place a baking rack on top of the lined sheet pan and set aside.
On a large plate, place your chicken wings in a single layer.
Sprinkle both sides with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Do the same with all of the dried spices: cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, turmeric, and chili powder. Sprinkle over both sides of the wings.
Drizzle the wings with olive oil and place on the rack of the lined sheet pan. Skin side up.
Bake the spicy wings for 30 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
Turn the wings over and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes.
These baked wings are so tasty! Much easier and healthier than frying them. The spice rub is one of my favorites, It's even good on popcorn. This recipe was created as an appetizer. Perfect with an ice cold beer!
