Pasta Frolla With Pears, Orange and Chocolate

Ingredients

Pasta Folla, look to previous recipe
Instead of using this crust, you can also use a puff pastry dough. Be sure to slit holes in the dough to
4 large pears cored, seeded, and sliced
1 cup chocolate

Preparation

In a bowl, place the pears, chopped orange slices, a handful of sugar in a bowl. Mix together.

Add a couple pinches of flour to the pears. This helps soak up the moisture in the pastry when baking.

Roll out the Pasta Frolla into a pie dish.

In the bottom of the pastry add the chocolate. Spread around evenly. On top of the chocolate, add the pear mixture.

Close the crust with another layer of the pasta frolla. Pinch the corner to seal the two together.

Use the leftover pasta to make designs to place on top of the crust.

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees until golden brown. Watch carefully because the crust can easily burn!
