Pasta With Chicken and Broccoli
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 pound boneless chicken breasts cut in ½ in strips
1 pinch red pepper flakes
1/2 pound bow tie pasta or small lasagna noodles, (cooked)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cups broccoli florets
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 cup white wine
3/4 cup chicken broth
Grated parmesan cheese
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sautee garlic for about one minute, stirring constantly. DO NOT BURN.
Add the chicken and cook until well done. Add the broccoli and cook until crisp but tender. Add basil; red pepper; salt and pepper to taste; wine and chicken broth. cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the cooked and drained pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
Heat for 1 to 2 minutes Serve.
Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
