Step 1 |
Melt butter. Add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook 20 minutes. Cover 3 pound chuck roast with sauce in covered roasting pan. Cook at 300 degrees for 2-3 hours. Let sit in oven until cool. Shred beef and mix together with sauce in pan (remove excess grease). Serve on hard buns. Makes about 1 dozen. |
