Recipe: Beef Rolls With Mustard edit

edit Ingredients

pounds flank steak |
2 |
tablespoons prepared mustard |
2 |
med. onions, chopped |
6 |
strips of cooked bacon, finely chopped |

tablespoons bread crumbs |

tablespoons flour |
1 ½ |
tablespoons bacon drippings |
½ |
cup water |

Step 1 |
Cut flank steak into 3 strips widthwise. Pound well. Spread each piece with mustard. Sprinkle with onions, bacon, salt, pepper and bread crumbs. Roll and fasten with a toothpick. Sprinkle with flour. |
Step 2 |
Brown in bacon drippings. Transfer to a baking dish and add water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with roats or potatoes and dill pickles. Serves 4. |
