Baked Fish Thessaloniki
Ingredients
1 pound boneless fillet of
cod
(or
bass
or
halibut)
1/4 cup
red wine
1/8 cup
olive oil
Dash of
cinnamon
2
onions,
thinly sliced
Pepper
to taste
1
garlic clove,
pressed
1/2 teaspoon
oregano
1 cup
Italian tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon
salt
Preparation

Preheat oven
to 375F.

Oil
baking
dish
with half the oil; place fish in it.

In
frying
pan,
heat
remaining oil and
fry
onion and garlic over medium
heat
for 5 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients and cover. Cook 10 minutes.

Pour sauce over fish.
Bake
45 minutes at 375F.

Serve
with crusty
bread
and
salad.
