Photo:
Beverley Ann D'Cruz
Ingredients
1 medium-sized
green
cabbage,
chopped finely
1 large
onion,
chopped finely
2 cloves of
garlic,
chopped finely
olive oil
salt
and
pepper
to taste
Preparation
1
Heat
the olive oil in a large casserole.
2
Add the onions and
fry
until well caramelised. Then add the garlic and continue to cook for another minute.
3
Add the cabbage and toss gently.
Season
with some
salt
and pepper. Add 1/2 cup of water, cover and cook on low.
4
If a lot of water releases from the cabbage, open the casserole and cook it on high so all the water evaporates.
5
Serve
either hot or cold.
