Pennsylvania Dutch Shoofly Pie

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Flour
1 Egg, beaten
2 cups Hot water
1/2 cup Molasses
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups Flour
1/2 cup Butter
2 Unbaked pie shells

Preparation

Bring 1 cup brown sugar, flour, egg, water & molasses to a boil; remove from heat & add soda, lemon juice & vanilla. Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells. Mix crumb topping ingredients well. Top pies with crumb mixture.

Bake 30 minutes at 350.
