Fried Okra

Ingredients

2 pounds okra, sliced ΒΌ inch thick
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup cornmeal
Oil for deep frying
Sea salt to taste

Preparation

Dip okra into egg. Roll in cornmeal to coat.

Deep-fry at 365 degrees until brown. Drain and serve hot.
